Lynn's Hens Night

Lynn's wedding coming. I joined in her hen's night party organize by her girlfriends. A total of 5 of us including the bride to be... :)

We contacted each other, plan for what / how to give her a wonderful & memorable night...

Someone came up to this dress for her

Disappointment

Its always not so much of yes you can, or ya you will have.. Its all depends on the correct timing.. I'm just too tired of thinking on such things .. especially when you get lots of disappointment..
I can hardly breath with all these noises came running through my brains telling me this & that.. Its always the "Over-stress" that crossborder... Only thing that can destress is cry out my heart or do a heavy workout to sweat my anger... but of course these are always not a long term solution.. Solution will only be one and only one. That is ... to buck up... :(

So True...

Sales Act

Today, a sales guy came to our office, he told us he is new to this industry.. but he is not new as a salesguy. There he starts to ask questions, jotting down points & so on .. But i spotted something.. I'm wondering, have anyone ever tell him that its not right to hv chewing gum in his mouth when he went out for sales to meet his customer... doesn't he know that its not quite polite chewing something in mouth and talk ? Well, i did not correct him thou as i thing im not in the position and his senior or mgmt should know abt it when they 1st brought him out with. Maybe i'll do that the next time if i see the same from him. Good Luck ... :)

Sad Night

Last night is a serious and sad one. I cry with the drama... the story, really touch my heart .. deep thou .. so resemble. I miss you.. i really do in fact, although i though i'm not. Whenever he appear at the scene.. the face, the wrinkles, the hair... so much so much.....

Because Of You

Because of "He say", "that who say", "this one say", "that one say", and so / now they say we're gonna help out on repainting the house again !!! .....

Ok.. at least the final product is a thumbs up...!!

回首重话晚晴园

That was years back since my last trip to our Singapore National Museum. I'm not in history class during my secondary days therefore had missed quite a number of Singapore "History".....

Was late due to work & rain.... lucky enough we're able to catch up with the rest...mm.. l ots of uncles & aunties.. guess we're the young ones that had attended the talk.. hehe
Nice lobby... :) ok, back to the talk,

Wan Qing Yuan Remembered (回首重话晚晴园)

In this talk, the curators shared their experience of conceptualising and developing the exhibition at Wan Qing Yuan, as well as new discoveries unearthed in this process, a journey of the history of the local Chinese community.

The Speaker's Bio from webby :

Lynn Lee graduated from the Nanyang Techological University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies. Her thesis, a historical study of The Amateur Players, is an effort to record the development of performing arts in Singapore. Lynn has been working on the redevelopment project of the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, as well as the Wayang Gallery. In 2012, she will be embarking on a special exhibition of the Cultural Medallionist playright Kuo Pao Kun.

Sung Yun-wen is currently responsible for the curation of the Food Gallery and overseeing the restoration of the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. In 2010, she curated an exhibition titled “Silent Coercion: Sumatra’s East Coast through a Colonial Lens”. A doctoral candidate in the History of Art and Visual Studies at Cornell University, her research focuses on the cultural biographies of Chinese commodities and objects circulated in Southeast Asia, as they experienced different “lives” through the flow of trade and commerce.

In the earlier stage of the talk, its abit boring due to the halfway sit in. But there the interesting parts starts ... quite informative & let us know more abt who Sun Yat Sen is & who is involve in.....
Lots of screens & photos for our satisfactory too .. The exhibition starts tomorrow .. wonder when i will hv the time there for a look... :P
