Uncle had been admitted to hospital for an ops lately. Heard of the news & went with mum & bro today for a visit. Saw him in the ICU ward. TTS is diff fm some other hospitals. They do have a nurse station outside every room to have a immediate attention. I like the service, but i don't like the facilities & the noisy door. How possible can he sleep well with that sound when it opens & close ?
I'm surprise to see him when we're there, he lost weight. He looks so diff compare to the last time when i saw him. We called him when we're there & yes, he nodded that he recognize us. But understand from doctors that they've input some medication that will make him a bit drowsy / sleepy, which is use to lesser the pain / numb it so that he will not feel / feel painful of said tubing. Therefore, sometimes, he may / may not be clear on his mind...
We stay for a while to let him sleep soundly.. yes, he dozes a while, but wake up the moment when the nurse came in cos of that noisy door. He move his hands & leg at times , pointed to his other hands & we finally notice / understand that he wants himself to be untied. Its just a way to stop him from pulling off the tubes himself due to discomfort. We tried explaining to him & he nodded... but not sure if he really understands what we're trying to tell him.
I don't feel good when i see close ones in hospital. Especially after that incident of dad. Whenever i see ppl with tubing, it'll reminds me of him. Just how much i wish they will get well soon... may god bless he had a speedy recovery.... =.=
