Mosquito breeding.. thats what i hate. Cos who knows it might leak to "DENGUE" ??
There's this bus-stop which i always wait for my buses & nowadays, you can see & kena bite by alot of mosquitoes.. There's once where i've got 8 bites in just less than 5 mins waiting time. The itch just won't get off even when i reach home. See how fast they can be & how strong they are.. To ease myself & also to hope that breeding stops, i actually decided to write in to NEA. Its after some consideration. I'm not sure am i kind of over-react ? or busybody ? or a complain queen ? But my final decision still proceeds with written feedbacks submitted. To my surprise, reply & actions being taken within the day. I agree that i've ever thought that govenment sector sometimes don't react fast even when they receive complains. But this time round, i'm wrong.. or maybe its just serious ? Heehee..

2 Prior to receiving your feedback, a thorough mosquito larval survey had been carried out in Henderson Road estate and its vicinity on 14 April 2009. Mosquito breeding had been detected during our survey and enforcement action had been initiated against the stakeholders responsible. Potential mosquito breeding grounds observed during our audit have also been conveyed to the respective stakeholders for action(s) to be taken to rectify them. Notwithstanding that, we would continue to monitor the site and work with the various stakeholders to take necessary action to prevent the recurrence of mosquito breeding.

For those ppl out there who are still considering of writing in their feedbacks / complaints to the government sectors, just do it. Sometimes, simple feedbacks might save lives.. :)
