Whats Gamble ?
- To play games for money.
- To risk money on the result of a game / race,
- To take a wild chance.
Who created a game ? who created gambling ? who created gambler ? Why does human likes to risk their money on such games ? Humans are not god. They will never know when will the game helps them to gain profit nor will they know whether it turns likewise.
4Ds, Totos, Big Sweep, Soccer, Investments.. most common are the 4Ds & totos where you'll see lots of ppl queueing up for luck especially during weekends.. Will they really strike ? will they cover all their losses once they strike ? Have they ever thought of how much they've put in before they strike once ? You can see ppl rushing towards radio or even tv once the resutls are out. Humans nature.. when you strike once, you'll go for a second try. When one looses.. they will frown & say "Oh Shit".. When one strike, they will have a smile on their face & say "Ho Sei Liao" ( In Hokkien ) .. How many ppl actually think twice before putting a stake ? Lots of ppl will just say "oh .. its just a game not gambling" :S .. Ya true.. maybe 4Ds & totos is just a small game but some elderly do put in a big stake hoping for more..
I met a couple of incidents years back where i've seen ppl lost a few thousand in just a simple soccer game .. its like drug.. you'll be addicted to it just like smoking. Recently, i met the incident again.. this time round is also a big lost but much lesser.. One can tell you that they'll quit for sure due to the huge losses + really stop it at one end but few mths later they start again at another end .. Whats the point of asking a smoker to quit smoking for years & no response.. When you care & talk to them, they will say you're nagging & stop you as to them the nagging will scare away their so call "财神爷".. if you dont care / stop them, they will continue to play & even more fiercely.
Gamblers whom are rich can afford, Middle class or poor families might not. If one were to base on their monthly salary for the game, guess they will never upgrade. One will continue stay at their sits & never give up gambling if they always have in mind that their salary can cover back if they lost. Why can't they just give a second thought ???
Whats the price for Gambling ? I can't see much benefits in there only "IF" you've won. I thk lots of gamblers will object to what i've said. A fact is a fact, you'll never know till you've met it. God Bless..!!
