Its such a great time enjoying myself at the pre-new year party. Laughing out my hearts although im not in the mood at dat time .. but yea.. really happy that day seeing so many surprise faces.. Saw uncle sebastian.. as cheerful as last time likes to joke & celein.. tot jamie coming but nvr see her.. some of them whom came 2yrs ago did not show up, guess they've other parties to attend ? haha.. yea.. year end mah.

TCS Filming @ Henderson

Sorry, the filming will last till today after confirming with our cleaner auntie this am as i saw the lighting still standing in the conference room. Today shall be the last day & tomorrow we shall have a calm day haha.. As usual, we'll hear the walls knocking & banging early am.. :S dragging the chairs & laughing from the celebs.. aiyo.. so happy meh filming.. =.=

Cleaner auntie told me that Thomas Ong is involve in this filming but i nvr saw him yesterday.. guess his role starts only today. Yea, heard his voice just now from our room.. mm.. who else leh ? So filming needs to have an extremely quiet background.. & you wont see any of our faces in there yea cos we're not allow to walk pass or make much noise during their filming & omg!!.. gotta go one whole round for toilet today again :S

Btw, those of you whom hvn been to our office & wish to see how our conference looks like .. stay tune to channel U for the episode of - "The illusionist " which will be showing next year around march.. ;P

Bing , Bang , Bung !!!

Was focusing my work this am & there the noise starts.. Bing, bang, bung..!! hearing chairs dragging here & there, knocking the walls & etc.. I tot its a new tenant moving in.. but not. Its the TCS.. they're here.. not sure why.. for shooting ? for a discussion ? Saw my ex-classmate - clarissa, she looks so diff.. maybe due to no makeup bah.. so, she's working with celebs now ? unable to tok much as she's working.. erm so am i lo. .. :P

Which celebs i saw ? mm.. nvr notice much as all ppl there are busy sitting down etc.. only notice Quan Yi Feng is inside.. mm.. ok lah.. nothing great abt her .. but finds her head abit big :D from my view lah.. she's sitting inside the conference room & i'm walking pass it.. basing on the side view, her head is kind of big lo haha.. ops.. so bad me... :P nor nor.. guess they've finish liao now.. her voice can be heard.. hahaha .... here comes the noisy dragging sounds again.. :S.. oh .. not done yet woh.. error error..

Their lunch time now.. saw another celeb.. Chen Jian Bin lo.. this time got eye contact de haha.. erm.. but walk pass nia.. haha.. heard from the recept that the filming last till around 7pm today.. :S OMG!!!

X'mas 2009

Hohoho.. merry xmas to all..


Xmas day again.. mm.. its a happening day for me today, went for morning jog with my sis in law & got bitten by mosquitos .. :S, give a morning call to hby after our jog to wake him up for a breakfast... :P thereafter, went for a marketing.. the happenings started here..


Me & sis in law did not bring along much cash with us as we went for the jog, hby did not draw much either.. while we're having breakfast, sis in law mention that she need to buy some coconut milk for mil so we headed for the marketing at NTUC just below the food court. As usual, we pick up a basket to start our marketing.. here we are.. happy shopping & putting the stuffs in the basket.. while we're heading to the cashier.. we suddenly remember we do not have much cash & started calculating the amt in the basket & our pockets :D.. so malu.. was actually accumulating the cash we three have woh.. aiyo...


Well, we passby the cake shop & saw a mini log cake thats so cute.. i intend to buy one to celebrate this mini xmas of ours.. erm.. hby decided to pay for it instead hehe.. See, sooo cute ! :




Thk sis in law is paiseh to accept my mini xmas gift yesterday, so she bought this coco for me woh.. thats my fav coco :

X'mas Eve 2009

Cool, its xmas eve.. a busy day in the am at work.. rushing for documents haiz.. all the last min again..

Was chase by boss to leave haha.. dunno is it he needs to leave early or he really good to let me off early but but.. cannot lo.. cos i need to finish my permits.. the last min one lo.. haiz..

Knock off early today & went to Jurong Point for a shop as i need to do some postage favour. It was damn crowded as expected cos its xmas eve.. lots of ppl shop for last min gifts.. was there to get some too.. but very very pack lo.. haiz..

Got this for hby..

Just in time for him to change as his cards are breaking :S.. so chor lor.. :D .. haiz... guys !!!

Walk until my legs damn tired.. sitted at the station for almost half an hour before hby knocks off & meet me there. Train was even pack at that time.. who says singapore population small arh.. when u are at the station, you suddenly feels that you're so tiny.. arrhhhh!!!! You can also see the normal actions in the train.. all the squeezing & pushing ... what else ? :S

Seafood Paradise

Seafood Paradise.. sounds great... when comes to serving.. mm... haiz...

Company organize a dinner with one of our customer which our initial plan was at Chijmes. A place where the carpark parking charges is damn high.. :P , not long after we reach, we decided to proceed to the jap restaurant for a try, unfortunately, its fully book.. :S, therefore, after discussion & a recommendation from one of the gals, we decided to head to the Seafood Paradise at Singapore Flyer..

Actually, its my first time there.. mm.. the place is quite nice, restaurants also look rather class from outside.. but when we enter in.. it looks no different from other normal restaurants.. hehe..

Food is ok.. but the serving time is rather slow.. not sure if they've forgotted our order or not enough chef due to the coming season but.. attitude is not right lo.. when we ask the captain how come our crab still not here, is it still catching, she can reply us "oh is it, ya lo, why still not here arh.. i check for you".. piangz.. Besides the serving, i thk the rest should be ok bah..

We make a mistake on the consuming part for this dish.. we tot its to be taken as sashimi.. but its suppose to be dip in the soup lo.. haha.. so malu.. but ok lah.. they say we can eat as sashimi too. Now we know so next time we will not repeat the same mistake le .... :P




We started our dinner around 7plus & ended almost 9 plus.. just the waiting time accumulated almost takes 1 hour i guess.. :S..

Its an entertainment night as pauline is so joky.. she can make us laugh our lungs out just by a simple sentence woh....having her around is so much joyful.. :D

二人厨

Yea, if i remember the name correctly. This foodstall is located around blk 116 of commonwealth market area.. Had our dinner there yesterday as recommended by my mil. She used to cook for the chefs & staffs there in the past while they're working in the last restaurant at Queenstown.

A total of 7 pax of us sitting on a big round table at one corner.. mm.. our table is big enough for all our foods.. not forgetting that besides the "zhi char ( in hokkien ) " food, we've in addition the satay & mutton soup from another store :P

Their famous dish is cooking pork meat with milk powder woh ( can't remember the actual dish name ).. no worries cos the milk powder wont be so strong after its cooked .. but yea abit sweet i thk.. maybe i'm not use to it. But you can see every table is ordering this dish.. so seeing is believing.. The staff will also recommend this dish to you if you were to ask them. Another dish is the chilli crab which my mil say is nice cos its spicy enough.. not like some other stalls where they're a bit stingy on the spices. Their hokkien mee is not that sweet which is quite a good dish for oldies. A total of 6 or 7 dishes excludes the satays, mutton soups & drinks, it only costs us S$100 nia woh.. mm.. maybe they've given a little discount on a/c of my mil bah.. but still consider cheap lo for 7 pax leh..

These two days eat too many nice food.. Tomorrow is another one.. dinner with customer.. woh woh woh.. another sumptuous dinner ahead woh.. haha.. how to slim down like that ? haiz.. :D

Grand Wedding Banquet

Receive an invitation card which full of question marks earlier.. cos its not stated from the people i know. It takes me quite some time before i realise its from CYF / Dolly & Mr Chan. yea.. finds her son's name so familiar lo.. jialut.. i so bo xim lo.. but ok lah.. i'll sure attend.. hehe.. since she still remember me even after so long that we hardly ctc each other & its my pleasure for being invited too !! :P

The grand wedding banquet that i've ever attend so far in Singapore. Yea. 是 "rich" de lo.. Went to the wedding banquet held at Meritus Mandarin Hotel yesterday, at Mandarin Ballroom somemore woh .. Our table number is 44.. erm.. ya.. abit unauspicious hoh haha.. A delicious & entertainment night that i had yesterday.

Went there & met ex-col of bms. Joyce, Jo, Cecilia, Xueli & Eve were there. Joyce looks slimmer liaoz.. Jo & eve looks same.. Cecilia still as joyful as i've seen since i'm in winstar.. and ..Xueli, the gal whom is the 1st time that i've met but we're so chattable during .. haha...

Ok.. my look for the night.. simple but yet "FAT" de lo.. :S haha.. looks so preggy.. :P

Here we are at the banquet.. its the "bling bling" banquet lo.. So many guests were invited.. so pack.. Dolly's & Mr Chan were soooo busy going round.. Dolly's clothes full of bling bling de lo.. same goes to the bride.. haha..

Oh, back to the dinner.. The dishes is damn delicious.. those of you whom were absent was such a waste.. hehe.. got as usual the sharksfin, scallops but theres an expensive dish : 8-head abalone woh.. sooooo yummy.. :P.. apricot pudding.. so healthy sia.. & many others.. our dinner ends almost 11pm woh.. the longest dinner i had.. but quite an entertaining night lo.. with a very entertaining uncle sitting with us.. helping the gals reading their palms & match making somemore.. :D

The couple gave us ( the guests ) a surprise with a dance. Follow by Mr Chan & Dolly haha.. cool man.. other guests join in too.. feel like joining too lo.. haha. This was the 2nd time i see ppl dancing in wedding banquets.. the 1st time is at my 3rd aunt's eldest son's wedding which was years back..

Whole of orchard road is pack de woh.. especially now is near to coming xmas season. Was on our way to bus stop back & my bus.. my god was pack until ppl standing by the doorstep. Worst of all, the bus driver still opens the door for ppl to board.. alamak ! Therefore, i've change my mind to take bus 16 to TBP to change MRT back instead, but yea, bus 16 is also pack lo & the ppl is really inconsiderate de lo.. still trying to squeeze their way up even though they know its already very very pack.. :S

Reach home abt 11plus, was so tired after that cos over my bed-time le..went to bed almost 1am...thats the latest time i've ever went to bed i guess.. :S

BE HUMBLE

Have been watching the sea games these few days.... saw some of the guys in there whom representing singapore gave a proud gestures when they're name. We all knew that yes, its proud when you're representing your country for a competition but not to that extend as to show off.. and moreover, i'm not the only one whom spotted the gestures.. so plssss be humble pls! Getting a third instead in one of the relay... although not bad but maybe that'll be a lesson for them.. :P

Stupid Things

Found lots of stupid things hanging at my house these days. First its the wireless that we've get last year .. the service provider told us it can be shared / connect up to 4 users but yes we can connect it but the speed is really slow until i wanted to throw the laptop away... :S

Next is the stupid toilet spray.. its suppose to be easily pressed & water will flow out fast & sharp.. nowadays, i can't even press out water despite the high pressure that i've activated.. :S

Follow by the aircon.. Urhhh.. its the most stupid aircon.. we need to ask for service almost within 3-5 mths.. where got new bought aircon always leak ? We've turn to 18degrees & the cool air that blows out is just like we're having 25-27degrees :S Worst of all, hby still tells me "its cold what".. :S

I've early rejected engaging this contracted whom my pil had used during our reno of this flat. Now, they've finally seen through it.. Theres so much incomplete & unpro jobs done.. one of them is the cupboard below our stove.. soooo smelly.. its gonna spoilt soon.. i can see the wood damp & popping up .. :S.. the stove is worst, always so much ants running even without food. Hey worst is ants even likes our kettle, we always find dead ants when we pour out the water from the kettle.. i don't understand whats this contractor doing.. theres once we can't even locate him after abt 1 yr of this reno haiz... not sure if he knew sure will hv problem after 1 year.. dats why 拿钱时快, 拿钱后跑得更快.. !! haha.. :P ... haizzzz.... if i ever strike 4D or toto or big sweep one day.. i'll sure change the kitchen cabinets & toilet tiles.. they're making me damn headache.. :S

Early Present??

Got a so call "present" from my hby's bro's gf few days ago .. Its an "Bio-essence" not sure why she gave me that ? For X'mas or just happen to buy xtra ? mm.. or an appreciation for helping to wash up her clothings ? or thk my freckless too obvious lately ?? haha.. guess i've thk too much. Anyway she nvr pass me personally, so not sure whats that present for .. lolx...

Tried it last night for fun as it can be applied on hands & legs as well... mm.. the absobant is real fast ... I've tried on my feet for a start as its getting older...lets see if any special signs of anti-wrinkled turns out from there yea..thk able to see result after a week bah base on the elaboration..hehe. :P

Overstress ??

Such a stressful day yesterday, went for my routine facial at SSC, so tired.. not even wish to talk when i reach home.. Guess i've been too stress today.. especially the moment when i step home.. i see pots unwash, clothings pile up, dry clothings still hanging on bamboo, kettles empty, floors dirty & that hby busy playing games on laptops !!!! arrhhh... whats woman doing ? pampering man ? what kind of life are we womans working on ? Guys says tired after a day's work requesting for a rest. Gals after a days work out still have lots of work to do when they reach home.. Whats this ????

Unable to get to sleep last night.. not sure why.. just feel so down & unhappy.. not sure why.. my eyes trying to control the tears from coming out.. not sure why.. tears starts to roll down my cheeks..... unable to sleep well & can't even control the tears or stopping it.. why???.. what on earth is happening to me ?? !!! arrhhh... :S

钢锅佳肴DIY

Ever since i last borrow the pots from yeeran, hubby always say wanted to show me the so call "better" dish as compare to mine using those pots.. Last wkn, he finally puts into action. This time, he dumps all in but at different timing :

Guess whats at the top ? So obvious rite.. its "水果 - zui guay ( in hokkien )" .. ^o^ !!

Bottom ? Chicken wings with carrots, potatos, garlic, onions, red pepper chilli & brocolli!! The carrots & gravy are really sweet de lo.. potatos are soft :P

This pot is amazing.. after knowing the estimate temperature, our dishes turn out to be better & better ..haha.. anyway, this is a 3rd attempt. Well well, going to try new dishes next round if the pots are still with me.. its really a great help to busy ppl who wants to have a nutrients & fast home meal even after work... << 让繁忙的都市人都能在短短的45分钟里烹煮出一餐>> ... mm.. getting more & more fun yea... muahaha.. stay tune !!!

So sweet.. was on our way to marketing last wkn & saw an old indian couples walking home hand in hand.. at that kind of age, really hard to imagine the "still loving" scene.  Mm.. wonder if we'll be the same in future when you hardly even hold the hands ?? .. :P

Btw, what does 白头协老 really means besides the main meaning ?? A must to hold hands ? A must to stick together everyday ? A must to walk beside each other or to take care for when you're crossing the road ? Well, i happen to receive an email which i guess some of you should have receive too :

Had a DIY makeover photoshot at yeeran's house.. hehe.. too bad i'm unable to join them for pre-xmas photo taking at orchard. Mm.. anyway, glad that i join this session. The hands-on makeup was so much fun. Love the correction advice given during the errors made upon applying the eyeshadow.. really learn something... Lucky my facial Gua Sha was a successful one without any pin-pointing haha...

Morning Jog

Went for a morning jog with my sis in law this am. First time explore the park behind our blocks.. Too bad the 2nd lap was under reno.. Went for a two round if i remember correctly. Its so much refreshing after the jog. Back home to do my household chores before i really went for my bath & sits for a rest. Too much sweat today.. its been so long since i really feel the sweat dripping that much...shiok arh.. :P

Whats new today ?  Firstly, its my 1st time carrying abt almost 5kg stuffs making a delivery taking MRT.. :S 是重的咯...  Reaches my destination with sweat dripping .. phew...

Next, my 1st time applying more than one layer of eye lashes with full make up.. aarrhhh... its so uneasy lo.. ok below photos before & after ... erm.. pls ignore the ugly skin texture & messy hair.. just focus on the makeup lah ok ok ? thks.. :P

Next, the fully make-up me .. muahaha... Its not a strong makeup .. but ok lah.. still nice rite.. hehe.. mm... 真是老王买瓜..keke... What a boring day.. staying at home doing only household chores & nothing else.. urhhh.. so sianz.. why am i not going out ? haiz.. what else.. cos nobody wants to go out loh.. :S... so my holiday is always like that..

失败乃成功之母

Seeing is believing especially with hands-on !!.. Started my cookware trial yesterday evening with the 3 pots that i've borrowed from yeeran. This is the first time i tried the dishes myself using gas instead of induction cooker .. mm.. 是手忙脚乱的咯.. haha.. You can see how messy my sink is .. ops..  shhh..

Ok.. firstly.. let me introduce the failed dish which i've use my own cookware to cook previously & tried more than once. Its the "Pudding Egg (布丁蛋)".  This is the cookware i use last time the egg turns out to be.. erm.. ugly ! U can see holes within the egg.. below pics explains :

Look at the cookware that i've use yesterday, the egg turns out to be smooth, nice & delicious de lo .. just like "chawanmushi" :P

Any idea where did i cook the egg from the above pic ? Its at the center on top of the big pot.

The big pot is use to cook "Onion Chicken (洋葱鸡)"...  Tadar ....too bad its without carrot if not it'll look nicer .. erm.. ok, i admit my serving skill not that nice.. at home mah, so just put on any plates loh.. lolx... :D

Ok ok.... i admit.. the dish which i've failed yesterday.. you'll never imagine.. its the "RICE"... :S Its not as easy to control the fire as the pot really captures the heat fast enough.  Within less than 10 mins, my rice had been burnt.. :(  Hby's the first to smell it from our sofa.. wow.. thats a huge burnt lo.. when i open the lid.. gosh ..  we're like in Genting !! cos whole house turnout to be smoky.... so paiseh, after so many years of rice cooking experience without fail turning out like that :S .. but .. but.. the burning smell is nice de lo.. just like cooking  "砂锅饭"  hehehe... Too bad.. forget to take the pic of the burnt rice as i'm busy cleaning / scrubbing the pot  :S

Ok serious time.. After cleaning / figuring out the problem..  we had a second tried.. finally our rice is "UP" !!

See, now i control the fire to medium..

Mm.. this time we can smell the rice smell instead of the burnt smell far from our sofa.."Phew"!!... =.= '''

Trying out these pots + fire takes us up to 2 hrs.. :S a little failure towards the time which we've planned thats all dishes suppose to be finish / cook within 45 mins together..  mm.. after this 1st trial, guess we should be able to catch the correct heat / time on our next try.. stay tune !!..

Busy

These few days have been real busy at work. All thks to the last minute jobs. Customer always likes to do things last minute. Not only that, they can even give advice that its urgent & need to load / export out the goods the next day.  Such a short notice & yet so demanding. As its a long term customer & boss not around, i've left with no choice but to accommodate & rectify it.. haiz.. Suppliers are worst.. they can tell you when they want to send in the goods instead of asking you to advice the delivery date ... arrhhh...  We are really like the meat in between the burger.. squeezing by left & right. Luckily carrier's are understanding enough to grant us the last minute spaces... if not gotta crack my brains for alternatives liaoz..

Kaoz.. becos of this, i can't even go to the washroom.. everything urgent, phone calls keep coming, emails keep prompting & etc..  but but.. its such a kind of relief after releasing myself in the toilet leh  ..haha.. Ops  :P  Well well, work is still work, jobs given to us we've to accomplish loh.. what can we say ? I still remember a tagline which i place on my FB : "付钱的人讲话, 収钱的人听话. 只能做, 不能说..." its so true loh...

Umbrella Story

These few days are cool outside & cold at our office. We're like working under snow... :S 

Knocking off from work while on my way home, outside is still drizzling. I saw this lady under the rain. I'm wondering 1) did she forget to bring an umbrella ? 2) Is she lazy to take the umbrella (as her bag is quite big) since its only small rain ? I offer to share my umbrella with her as we're heading to the same destination but she rejected & continue on her hp. I thought gals who like to buy big bags is to put lots of things ( includes umbrella ? ) but looks like its not her choice.. When she's talking on phone, i'm like oh.. should i go up to her & tell her not to use hp under the rain when you're without any shelter ? But I did not, as she looks abit fierce, so erm.. you know lah... better to keep quiet lo hehe .. kpo me right.. :P

My Day

Another year wiser. My actual plan was to apply for a day's leave to "nua" at home but boss going outstation so i gotta drop my plan. Was busy at work since morning.. a shack day lo.. tired & still tired..  Happy times seems short.. i can only feel my smiles when i receive wishes from friends..

Getting Above 30s

Ppl always say its better not to celebrate your birthday once you reach 30.. reason being to avoid reminding yourself that you've grown older.. :P   But.. but .. face it ! You Are !!! ... Muahaha :P

Someone says its good to celebrate cos its your day ! Its the day you came to the world ! Wow.. sounds good rite ? mm... in fact, celebration is just to make one happy with presents ? or just to make others happy to give present ? Giving others a chance to think of what to buy for you, to spend on you ... to .. to... give yourself a chance of getting something that you long for from one of the present ? Hmm... You give me, i give you.. aiyo ... when will it ends ? Haha...

Heathy Day

Went for my workout this morning. Erm.. its been more than 1/2 a year since my last visit.. :P getting fatter & fatter haha.. Time to tighten my muscle & cut down my flabby parts.. Well, i just love the time at the gym. Its so much enjoying. Especially early morning when you've a free use of all the machines without having to share with others or queuing up :)

Finish off with my steambath & sauna.. wow.. feeling fresh after that.. what a sweaty day ..:P Thats not all, reaching home to continue my 'sweat' with household chores :S.... tired day woh.. ended "nua" at my sofa.. haiz.. body aching.. thk over work for the day... gotta input more calcium & protein to replenish my energy.. :o

夜来香

This is the stall name. The stall that we used to patronize last time while we're still living at commonwealth. A stall selling western crusine. Thk its been more than a year that we've not went there for dinner. Today, we decided to have a change of dinner. We went to the stall & yea, as time goes, theres changes. The tag "Self Service" caught our eyes.. they use to serve to our table but now ...

Ordered our food & here comes the drink stall auntie asking if we want to try her home cook barley drink. I was thinking.. oh yea.. home cooked.. so must be something interesting / nice ? Food & drinks arrive a moments later & we started our dinner at the smoky & hot hawker. I'm so disappointed with the dishes .. more disappointed with the drink :S.. Food no longer taste as it is, the drink.. no taste at all ? mm... leftovers ... what a waste, as i always finish up last time.. :(  maybe the cook is the cause as last time it their mum who does the cooking. Thumps down for this dinner.. urhhh.... :S

Bad Fall

Guess i've a bad fall that day & must have strain my neck muscles with the huge pull when i fell if not it wont be so hurt & painful for so many days. Can't even stretch my head backwards like last time. :S  I shall leave it till monday. If still like that, thk i have to seek doctor liaoz :S...

Isn't it funny.. we actually came up with this topic from just a simple question & ended debating & sharing.

Q : Should a couple be prepared with savings before having kids ?
A : Yes & NO
Yes - With savings, you'll have the gd / best things for yr kids cos they're your precious ones & nowadays everything costs. Even before / during pregnancy, after giving birth & childrens' upbringing needs money.
No - Not necessary, you can see that in the past even poor family can have alot of kids.. just 省吃减用.. plus your parents will lend a helping hand to you if you hv not enough $$ as they will not leave you to suffer with yr kids.. ( sounds bad right ? ) 所谓, 船到桥头自然直嘛...

Conclusion : None... cos both seems to be right lo..  OMG.. den whats the debate for?  :P

Watch "My Girlfriend Is An Agent" yesterday with peiying. Its a funny movie.. Thumps up .. worth watching..



The funny actions of the actor.. thats where i laugh most i guess..  Wonder whether it will show on SCV soon.. haha... thk i'll watch again if it does.. :P

The Fall

Had a fall last night in the toilet while cleaning. It hurts.. :( ... Slippery floor.. thats the cause.. Had been very careful since the first day i started the cleaning as i knew this day will happen but still, i slipped. :S

Hby was sitting in the living room playing his facebook games while i slipped. Nobody came to ask what happen.. haiz.. after bath, i went out, ask whether anyone heard a loud bang, my bro-in-law jokingly say.. "oh, you slipped ? Did the floor cracked ?" :S .. hubby say nvr heard anything.. gosh.. i'm like.. thk god i still able to bath & come out. Went back to my room & i'm glad that at least hby will come in & ask am i ok... phew.. at least i'm not an invicible person in the house... muahaha.. oh.. still able to joke, meaning i'm really ok le.. hehe :P

Immune Down

Immune down again.. time to take my double-X. haha.. waiting for my protein.. haiz.. when when ?? Guess i've over-stress & over-work myself plus dehydration. Gonna pour more water in to make my skin back to supple & my immune back to normal.. :).

Shopaholic

Woman.. haiz.. was out with mum last wkn for a so call "WIN" shopping but ended buying clothings again.. arrhhh..  must start to discipline myself.. but.. but.. its kind of fun having shopping for clothes at same store with mum woh.. btw, not sure if my taste had went "old fashion" or her taste went "younger" or is the store's clothing went to a "mixture" for all ages.. haha.. got the clothes we want & pay real high price for these "WIN" shopping loh.. starts to mumble & scolding myself after that : *shop , shop.. shop lah.. shop until wallet burst again den will start crying . :S ... :P

Bomb !

Strike another bomb again!  Have been waiting for this pretty lady & after so many chaser & calls & sms, our dear insurance agt finally turn up. She is soooooooo busy.. schedules always sooooooo tight. Haiz.
Talking abt upgrading our parents insurance & now arrows pointing back at us. Juz knew that i did not get the "POH" policy which i got for mum. Mm.. ok. maybe i should take up one myself for more claims available if needed ( Touch Wood ), plus new policy coming up to make my whole policy complete. With this, i'll have to set aside more for my insurance deduction monthly.. arrhh.. Calculating it .. guess nothing much left liao..:(

营养早餐

Last time, i use to thk that my breakfast is a full & nutritious one as i've been having noodles or eggs or bread or etc... . Last night, i realise that i've actually been having a so call "unhealthy breakfast" with another name call "RUBBISH".. :S

Went for a mini seminar @ center last night which clearly tells us what the foods that we've been taking consist of. Its really unbelievable. This seminar was held by Dr Lee, whom elaborates the differences plus advantages between consuming the usual breakfast we have towards supplements. Some simple demos of the supplements which is easily digested. Quite an interesting session with laughters & cute questions raised... Glad i'm there today. A session without yawning at least compare to last time.. ops.. haha.. Was never so concentrate / alert during a seminar woh...

We always sees taglines at the shelve of some fragile / breakable items in some shopping malls saying : "Once break consider sold ". Today, i saw this tagline from the shelve in one of the shop which i find it very unique & cute : "I break i cry, you break you buy".... isn't it cute ? haha...:P

Privacy

Theres advantages & disadvantages for having your own privacy workstation in office. I do have half privacy last time in my previous job but not for now. Our office is a mini organization with only 2.5 ppl working without partition.


Today, my ex-colleague call up & we chatted for a very short while. Theres so many things that we can say but being restricted.. maybe to me it is lo.. cannot say too much or some sensitive topics also.. haiz.. nvm.. shall chat more when we meet bah.. :P

Immune Sys Down

Finally.. my immune sys broke down. Sneezing from yesterday & today is like half jelly. No energy to move on for the rest of the day. Sms my boss for a half day leave application & luckily, my boss is kind enough to grant me 1/2 a day leave home for rest without application needed. :) Knock off early & went back to rest.. yea right.. "rest" ... how i wish i really were.. starts sweeping floor & laundry instead.. :S Sad sad sad....... ok lah.. not that sad also.. cos still got time to rest at least .. :P

Im Singaporean

Lolx.. I'm Singaporean! Born in Singapore !!!.

I've met alot of ppl asking if i'm a singaporean. arrhh.. do i look like a foreigner ? :S Theres ppl saying that i dun look like Singaporean. Some guess that i'm from Malaysia, some say Japan & some lagi worst say i'm from China!!!.. :S Is this a praise or do i actually look like them ? Ok.. If u say my skin is fair / fine like china gals or japanese gals, maybe i can say thks & it might be the magic from artistry products which i've changed to use last year. If u say its the way i tok or voice like them.. mm.. ok .. maybe i mix with too many of them haha.. but some of these gals actually sounds more & more like singaporean woh .. mm.. where could be wrong ? Maybe i gotta 检讨 liaoz.. :S

初体验 (II)

Have another of DIY Cooking session @ Ghim Moh Rd last wkn. This time, i brought mum along to see how we kiddies whom seldom cook at home can cook multiple dishes in just less than an hour plus using an over 20 years pot.

The ingredients & Pots that we use this time :



The dishes that we've prepared this time round :

Theres brocolli, pudding egg, rice, curry chicken, fried beehoon & 无水煮蛋哦!


All dishes are cooked by stacking the pots as shown in above pic.

1st Dish : Curry Chicken.
Guess what.. we only stir twice, one before we close the lid & another when its cook. :


U can see the potato.. its really soft & ready to eat. When u use a normal wok to cook, you've to steam it long to make it soft. But this, we don't have to steam it first. Just place all ingredients in & stir one time before we close the lid & another before serving. :P


2nd dish : Pudding Egg :

Look at the leaf in the pudding, its still as green as before. It will not turn yellowish orh.

3rd dish : Rice

Ops.. 4got to take pics of it but ya.. we cook it by placing it at the top & cook together de. Oh, same goes to the brocolli which i thk i've blog abt it previously.. :P

4th Dish : 无水煮蛋
Normally, when we cook egg, you'll put in water covering the eggs right ? But u can see from below that we did not use alot of water, just a piece of wet kitchen towel & place the eggs on top of it thats all. But the egg is still cook without burning the kitchen towel woh. !!!

Last Dish : Fried Beehoon.

We can't say that there's no stiring at all for this beehoon but its still helps to cut down time compare to the normal pots or wok which we've been using to cook it. You still need to fry a bit of the ingredients first before you put the veg & beehoon. Ops.. looks like the veg is more than our beehoon.. haha.. look at the height :

No worries, we are still able to cook it. :P

Isnt it amazing ? Mum likes the pot lid. She enjoys the whole session but just feels a bit sweaty while watching us cooking haha.. I guess all moms or those who knows how to cook will react that way. As for me, get to see that we can use this pot to cook so many dishes is already a surprise to me & of cos, learning new dishes is an advantage for joining too !! ;)

Our next planning .. target dish - "Western or Japanese" !!.. get what i mean ? Do let me know if you're interested to join us.. We do encourage hands on for 1st timers orh !! :P
