Flu

Sneezing from yesterday morning till today.. headache + body aches like jelly. Lucky no fever.. Still able to joke & walk so still ok. Not swine flu orh.. guess the indigestion causes this.. constipation starts.. I thk i ate too much dumplings.. mm.. gotta watch my diet again..

Getting fatter nowadays.. maybe lack of exercise. Almost two wks that i last go for my gym.. mm.. gotta go next wk. Guess its 水肿 that makes me looks abit 向横发展.. lots of my clothes started to be tight fitting lo.. gotta start getting myself fit back.. Gambade !!! :P

Swine Flu

Swine Flu. This have been a common topic everywhere nowadays. Especially when news mention that singapore is in the list now. I just dun understand why whenever theres some life threatening news, ppl will start to talk & discuss.. mm..

Well, singapore had been taking precaution ever since the news came out even when we're not in the list. Hospitals have also been having temperature checks for every patients that enters the clinic. Remember i was at hospital two days ago with my siblings & mum for her appt ? My sis & bro are taking precaution by putting on the masks themselves. This nurse at the entrance ask whether they are the patient or are they having cough or fever... haha.. she even laugh & smile saying that we do not have to put on the mask if we're not sick. Curiousity arise... why did the nurse put on the mask if she says we shouldn't ? She's the only person wearing it within this premises. Why can't we patients put on when she can ? My sis is right. We're just doing something which we thing is right & we should. Whats wrong ? :P

What a day !

I've jump to a small conclusion recently. Being born as the 2nd child in a family will mostly be bullied. Maybe some of you dun agreed. But to me, i really see afew of my cousins / friends who are born as the 2nd child are almost same as me.. haha.. The eldest child & youngest child will sure be pampered more. The 2nd child will be more focus on household chores, responsibilities & etc. What i mean is more of those compared to the eldest & youngest.

Yesterday was a bad day for me. I agreed that 'm use to nagging at ppl when i saw things are not right. When i saw aircon being on but door not close, i'll also nag, i know its not my house, but i'll just like ask :"who on the aircon but door not close" ? I ask my siblings yesterday & my dear sis admitted but added she just on it. Ok.. fine. But she grumbled & say i'm scolding... comeon.. does one scold ppl when they dun raise their voice ? Anyway.. i dun thk i'm in the wrong. Well, if she feels that i'm wrong, fine.. i'll apologize. Just for the sake of peace. Went off with a black face & reactions obviously telling ppl that she's not happy. Mum & bro starts to pin point at me saying i shouldn't annoy her.. :S Win already loh.. like that also kena said. I'm trying to remind ppl the correct way & being shoot. Sis told me she is not angry, just tired.. well, anyway, i will never brought up anything again if its not under my care. Dun worry, i'm not angry, just feel sad that i'm always the one kena .. haiz.. looks like being born as the 2nd child is nothing better.. haha.. Anyway.. 兄弟姐妹是没有隔夜仇的咯...kekeke.. Whats over is over lah..

Was home playing my computer & the window was widely open to get more wind coming in. Theres this stupid fly or bee came knocking towards me that makes me jump up. Hby also get the shock when i jump. But instead of calming me down, he nag at me.. :S Say i shouldn't jump for nothing.. :( Scared mah.. I'm not superwoman le..

What a day ending with.. all the shootings & blaming & accusing.. Arrhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!

Hot Day !

Weather is damn hot nowadays. Yesterday was the worst of all. I have been sweating since morning. You can feel the heat even when you haven't step out of your house. The floor is burning.. arrhh.. My sweat had been dripping non stop during the journey from my house to my mums. This is the first time i sweat at home. I'm a person whom doesn't sweat easily & yes, i actually did yesterday.

Brought mum to hospital with my siblings for her ops appt. Mm.. what a long wait. SGH Sucks.. First is the location, due to the swine flu, theres nurses everywhere & barrers are up. Yea.. its like you've gotta walk extra to reach your destination. Next, the nurses at the registration counter seems to be in morning bluez.. face so black. During the ops, theres a screen for the relative of patients to view the progress of the patient ( eg : at reception, in ops, recovery etc.. ) but mum's ID was not shown during our 4 hours wait. We ask the nurse & there, they say we can ask the nurse in the ward & yea, we found mum lying at the recovery area.. :S. Even the collection of medication also have to go & take outself. The long long long way to connect us from block 2 to block 4, just like a maze.. ... haiz... Almost cool down with the help of the aircon in hospital & got heat up again for the long distance walk.. X0

New Makan Place

Join my hby for dinner with his colleagues yesterday. A walking distance from pioneer mrt, around jurong west .. erm.. somewhere near blk 966 if i remember correctly. Got a new shoe at the flea market due to the sandals that i'm wearing died halfway to our destination. arrhh.. what a luck.

We reach & started our ordering. mm.. foods are nice. The crab is one of the best dish that they comment. Yummy yummy.. arrh.. fatty fatty. Ok.. the thing which i like is the signature. Yea. you can request to leave a signature on the crab shell & hang up. Everyone is doing that. You can see lots of crabshell hanging everywhere around the corner & on the pillars. Enjoyable & entertaining night. You can see how the china workers talking back to each other during the meal with laughters & no one gets angry. Mm.. what a relaxing & entertaining meal.

Safety

Just saw a woman trying to clean the window just opposite my block. Its so dangerous. Its the lower window that she's trying to reach.. The way she bend half her body down just to reach the bottom of the window.. arrhh... Is cleaniness more important than one's life ? I can't figure out whether its the maid or the owner. :S

Tights

Tighten Belt.. Overdraft. Gotta keep my pocket organize again. Just help to settle payment & also my own stupid Income tax ..arh..

Todays lunch. One cup of cereal, two apples, 4 biscuits & 1 cup plain water. "FULL" ! Wahaha.. cheap & wat a diet.. well, hope i dun get hungry later.

Juz get to know that we're going back to the chinese physician this wkn again. Another expenses to forge out.. haiz.. sometimes i'm wondering.. 自己吃都有问题了, 还要胃别人吃!!!!.. This month is a tough month. Next mth will be tougher as theres bills to attend again & pals wedding to attend.. erm.. ya.. coming in few wks time.. what to wear huh ? Long time nvr shop for dinner wear. Haiz.. headache time ! Not again !!

Ouch

Clumsy me. knock my leg against the corner of our bed last night.. ouch.. the knocking sound is so loud.. i fall flat on my bed.. too painful to stand up. Thats the outcome for sleeping at the inner corner & the small space available to move during the lights are "OFF" !! :S ...是痛的囖!!! haiz.. not sure how many times i've knock myself in this room. Am i really that clumsy ?

Hooked

Cool games from facebook. Haiz. . kena hooked.. even my hby .. see... hahaha



Not only me & hby, even his brother had been hooked. They will compete with each other on the games whenever they are free on net. I've been hook into FS games & spot the difference game for quite sometime until i join them on the word games. Thereafter, another new game came-by & got hooked again.. will get stuck on my laptop at home after work or even on some of the wkns when i'm free.. haiz.. aiyo.. when can i get off these games ? Mm.. i thk maybe when i get high high up the score .. hehehe.. but its really a kind of relaxing.. yet challenging !! hohoho !

Ops.. well well.. see how many more games will i get hooked later part .. ^o^ !! Lolx !!

Hungry :(

Hungry liao.. so fast.. even hungrier when i smell the "BAO" smell. arrhh.. boss eating "something" now.. makes me feel so hungry.. maybe my lunch too light.. fish beehoon soup.. I can't take food now leh, if not tonights' dinner unable to finish den someone will 'nag' lo.. haiz.. arrhhh.. :S

Urhhh.. water, my saver .. haha.. aiyo.. sounds like advertisement leh.. but really.. drink water to make my stomach less noisy lo.. the only way .. :P Lolx !!

Curiosity

The never ending curiosity... I've left the previous company for over half a year. Recently, i've link back to liaise with one of my ex colleagues in a diff unit. The curiosity came back. Questions came back & of course.. same reasons submitted. When one leaves a company, theres alot of reasons.

When questions came again & again, i have a mix feeling -
1) Is it the company so good that makes the staffs ask why the colleague leave the company ?
2) Is it the good pay or good boss that ended some staffs to stay in the company longer ?
3) Is it the job scope delicated that makes him / her feels challenging & stays with the company ?

I only know...
A staff will not work in a company for long like ages
A company will not collapse without any staff
A company will never react till they feel the pinch
A company will only reward the staff when they feel its in need.. when ? god knows..

I like to work my way, i like to work in an environment not that 约束, more flexibility. Not all companies does that.. even my current one. A staff can just get sack just becos he / she surf the net during working hours, a staff can also get sack just becos of multiple mistakes from work. I'm just wondering.. what will a staff get if he / she surf the net during working hours but is an accurate & efficient one on work ?

Was there for food tasting with all last saturday. Met her parents.. looks abit educated cos speaks english sia.. pardon me but..but her mum looks like not so '友善" woh.. maybe i thk too much.. or maybe only to me? shake hands nvr look at ppl but talk to others ? should this be the way ? not once but twice .. Lolx!!...

Ok , back to the food.. The "A la carte Buffet dinner" eat all you can .. cool dishes, well presented but tastes abit saltish & starchy on some of the dishes .. The desserts are nice.. i take 1.5 bowls of "herbal jelly" + 1 bowl of "almond longan".. the price there is quite reasonable for buffet dinner but food wise.. i can only say that it depends on individual. Serving mah... can list as good but think short handed that day as one staff servicing three tables. Looks like singaporean likes saltish / starchy foods ? or cheap / reasonable foods ? or affordable foods ? or or or ? Well, you can see its almost fully occupied when it comes to dinner time .. packed with ppl & busy until the serving getting slower & slower.. Our table is really very kiasu.. haha.. ordered 28 bowls of 3 types desserts at one shot. Just to lesser the burden of the waitress auntie.. ^o^ !!

Anyone ever tastes the food there & have different views do let me know.. :P

Co-Operation

"Co-operation" - Its what we need when you're living with someone else. I'm not living alone with my hby but also with his brother + wife to be. The common toilet have to be shared as smokers are not allowed to use the master bedroom toilets.. :P

Well, its very important for one to keep the toilet clean & pollution free after utilization.. After some time of usage, i actually found this tag in the toilet two days ago.. Muahaha..

Yaya.. its a reminder tag.. haiz.. not sure which one 4got to flush the toilet that ended with the tag up there.. :P

Mm... Wondering.. should i also put up a tag at the basin reading "Pls Wash Up After Use" ??? Kekekeke... !!!

Pampered.. Pampered Not ?

I can say that every family sure have a parent who pampered one of their kids more. so call - 偏心. Yes.. guess it also hits some of you yea... why does a parent react in this manner ? every child to a family is precious. Just becos one is youngest ? or Just becos one is eldest ? or Just becos he/she is the only boy / girl in the family ? well, even if you want to pampered one, pls.. plsss try not to be so obvious.

I've seen one many years back & now even more obvious. Although had been denied but the reason given is so much unacceptable. I've seen another one years back & recently too. I really can't believe the difference was so obvious. You can even see them pamperred one in front of their other kids.. OMG !!!

Stop all these & stop reacting so obviously & hurt the others... How well do you think that the one you pampered will sure be the one whom cares for you more ? Ya.. maybe i'm not in the position to tell / inform you but pls.. maybe think twice before you react.. :S

Geography??

I failed my geography during my school days & i hate history lessons. Lucky i do not hv to take both subjects during my upper sec years. When i started work, my 1st full time & long term job is in fwdg line & there, i've to touch on geography again.. haha .. ya ya.. one of my lousy subject sia. Very grateful to my "师傅" lo.. Theres the place where i start my life in this firm & i guess i will be fix liao cos i won't be able to go back to what i've learn - be a secretary ? ... mm.. maybe when i'm old & no company wants me den i will go back to return what i've learn in business schs..

Till today, i can say still need room for improvement. I can say that i'm hardworking enough as to tag along my Atlas to flip & check on the destination which in need of help. When customers request for rates to some errie or place where i nvr even heard before. Neither do i know which category should i go for. My 1st though is to approach the carriers / agents as we always think that they are at least more well verse than we the shippers / "their customers"... Today, i find that i'm wrong. Nowadays, "we" as the shipper have to provide the exact destination / ports to "them" - the carriers / agts. Below is what i mean :

"We" - "Pls quote..... to Alabama"
"They" - "Pls provide zip code"

Ya.. after seeing this word "Zip Code".. im stunt.. comeon.. i'm Singaporean. How possible could i hv the zip code ? Ok. I do my job, i flip the atlas.. Next ...

"We" - "I thk the nearest port is Birmingham ? "
"They" - "Birmingham, USA ? "

Now, this makes me wonder whether did they take the initiative to flip the atlas... What are atlas for ? Ok, maybe they dun have atlas but .. theres no way for them to check ? Soooooo Cuteeeeeee :S

Dunno why.. but while i'm watching one of the hong kong short drama last night with hubby, my tears actually flows out with the actress during her sad scene ( showing how she explains her dead hby's love for her & how he died ) .. haiz.. dunno why but tears seems like cant stop .. Hby ask what happen, i just couldn't explain. Maybe its the scene.. the story.. or maybe something suddenly just came to my mind until i'm not aware & all wires tangle together ? maybe .. maybe.. :(

But true enough, after the burst.. i feel much better woh.. why ? doshite ?

MD Present

Mum hv been complaining that her phone keeps auto shut down long ago.. therefore, we siblings came up with this new mobile as mother's day present for her. Initially, we have two choices :

1) To give her a surprise ? or
2) Let her choose her own liking

But after some discussion & coin tossing, the fist choice had been decided. Getting the right phone is hard. gotta suit her liking, the easy function & etc. As mum is not really well literate, we have to get something easy to be use. yea, after some viewing / browsing of webs we ended with LG350. Mm.. nice colour yea.. sweet yea.. hope she like it..

Initally, we tot she would love it cos she chooses this colour when sis tested her on the liking of colors.. unfortunately, when the present given to the later, we knew her choice is not this colour & not even the flip phone.. :S But yea.. she still like it cos we buy one mah.. haha.. Hope its user friendly for her. Happy Mother's Day !!

Yea.. got my present yesterday from bro.. bought & hand carried from overseas woh.. mm.. good choice bros.. Choice seems to be too little leh.. gone so far but only bought these for me ? mm.. ya ya .. i'm a bit greedy hoh.. haha.. at least towards chocolates !!!!!!!!! Yummy yummy.. too less.. dare not eat so much at a time which i normally does le.. haiz.. Get more next time if got chance to go again yea !! :P

Reuse Of Expired Masks

New DIY mask for leg.. haha.. yea.. its so call 废物利用..

Well, got this mask very long time ago for bros but never knew that he nvr use till yesterday when he bring it out & ask me to apply for him.. OMG !!! Expire liao loh ! But i suddenly came with an idea.. instead of throwing it away, maybe we can use it on some non sensitive areas.. like our foot ? hehe... Ok.. at least after 1 day, my foot still looks normal.. :P .. btw.. can anyone figure out which is my leg ?

Lucky i brought one of my mask along with me.. erm.. ya.. haha cos tot i might need it after my gym mah.. Ok.. so i apply for him loh.. hope it helps.. keke..

Alertness

I'm working in a firm that deals with customs documentation. Its kind of important document which might leaks to composition fines when theres any overlook or incorrect details provided. Initially, we've got a customer whom required us to declare the documentation for them but had divert to their nominated hauliers later. Those who are declaring the permit should be well train personnel. Ok.. maybe they are not but should have at least the simple knowledge ?

Ok.. give some of you some free knowledge. In customs documentation, we should know what invoice terms are to be use in the declaration. This haulier instead of getting the correct infor from their customers, they just declare the cargo value in. Noted that this is a gst invoice documentation, they should be aware of the consequences when customs random checks their permit. Even the year end audit.

Its my job to check the documentation when they submitted to me. Not sure whether is it i'm too kind or too kpo to check the documents that leads to the discrepancies + incorrect declaration that i've found. I told my boss & ask whether is it our job to highlight to them or should we just inform the customer direct. I just feel that alertness is a must in whatever things that we do & of cos that involves the decision making. I'm not sure what outcome we will get in when the later found out. Hope they know what to do & does the necesary .. God Bless the customer won't get any compound.. mm.. i guess the penalty will go direct to the declarant instead bah which i doubt the customer will accept ? .. :

Dust Mites

I've a friend whom referred me to a cleaning company recently. I'm a bit disappointed to the tele-marketing staff. I receive the call on Monday evening & arrange for the free 45mins cleaning service ( As advice to have first trial cleaning free which include window curtains, mattress, sofas ). After some discussion with hby, we decided to try out as since its "FREE". no harm trying anyway. Appointment fix on Tuesday night. On Tues, when i see the worker ( only 1 pax ) i sense something is wrong. Yes & i'm right. He is the cleaner cum "SALES". He presented the m/c with a almost full elaboration & followed by demos. Well, the demos or so call "cleaning service" only done on our mattress & nothing else more....

Ok.. now to the point. "DUST MITES" - this is the cause / reason that makes me agreed to this free trial. I agreed that the sales had done a clear demos. The water is obviously dirty after the demo of air-purifing & mattress suction. Our mattress had been with us almost 10 yrs & after hearing what the sales explain, we wonder how much dust it had been accumulating inside our mattress since the day we purchase. The demos really make our hearts a bit shaken on the purchase but we never, as the m/c cost more than 3k.. After the sales left, hby told me that its a good investment as the m/c have multi-purpose functions. From air-purifier to floor / windows / sofa / mattress cleaning & etc. Its mainly for dust cleansing.

Long accumulates of dust will result to dust mites. This is the first time that i heard of dust mites..Dust mites feed on foods which can be found in furniture, house dust, bedcovers, clothes, cloth toys, carpets, and mattresses. They also absorb moisture through their skin, and this means the more humidity in your home, the more favorable the dust mite growth. Dust mites have been blamed for allergies, hay fever, dermatitis, rhinitis, and asthma. Exposure to their feces or body parts can cause asthma in children at risk for the respiratory disorder.

Sounds scary yea.. thats why hby seems to be considering for the purchase as the warranty last for 8 years inclusive of the parts too & we can use for both household. Imagine u've to bring down the heavy curtains for the whole household to laundry shop to wash ? With this m/c, we don't have to. Of cos, there's other ways to kill dust mites. Eg : one of the simplest ways to kill dust mites that have infested your bed linens is to wash all your linens in hot water that is above 130 degrees. Well, will u do that ? or pay hard cash to change all your funitures like what government had ever advice ? Mm.. sounds terrible .. now not only bed bugs that we've to be aware.. another tenant is intruding.. urrhhh.. :S

Arrhhh... so sad.. i can see an arrows ----->> ---->> ---->> came shooting into my heart. Making it shattered .. haha.. This sentence obviously tells me that i've aged.. :(.. Ok.. i admit i've aged haha but dun have to tell me on face lah.. haiz.. well well.. fact is fact.. I'm dark at that time cos of the outdoor activity i have during school days... now.. fair fair cos always stay indoors.. Or maybe its becos that i stay in door that make me so weak ? Muahaha.. another excuse for me to go out an play arh.. Stop Dreaming !!! :P

累了...

每天需有八小时睡眠.. 这是人们常说的, 也是我常听到的. 可是就算您拥有了八小时或以上的睡眠又如何? 会比较精神吗? 就不累了吗? 这几个星期我忙里忙外, 担心着儿, 担心那儿. 紧张的度过每一天. 该想的, 不该想的, 我都想. 该做的, 不该做的, 我也做了.. 可我得到了什么呢? 还不是疲累的身体. 不够睡眠的我, 近日常常觉得没有足够精神. 尤其到了午饭时刻, 好想大睡一觉.

紧张是一种情绪发泄, 有好, 也有坏. 太紧张就会象我这样. 常在夜里磨牙.. 牙齿就快让我磨坏了. 身体也看得出不够放松. 还未过完四月份, 我的新水就快没了.. 看着我的钱包, 心想.. 来临的一周要如何度过? 看着一张张未开过的帐单与信件, 真有一种冲动想把它们都扔掉.

最近又增加了医药费用.. 朋友又想约见. 钱不是万能的, 但没有钱确实万万不能咯. 不要跟我说过一天算一天, 每个人应有未雨绸缪的想法, 要是有紧急时候呢? 钱从那儿来呢? 我碰过, 所以我知道. 难道钱会从天上掉下来吗?

算算, 每个月需要拿出的钱还真不少 :
1) 家用
2) 餐费
3) 电话费
4) 保险
5) 信用卡
6) 车费

外加近日来增加了医药费和Income Tax.. 别望了还有一些零碎的费用... 想不起是否遗漏了.. 希望没有........ 币咳.. 怎么说都是没有解决不了的问题.. 发发牢骚就酸了吧... 可是, 问题还是问题.. 还是要想办法配合我那可怜的钱包... :(

呵.....累... 累了, 好累..... 我好累啊... 不知怎么的, 我忽然想好好睡一睡, 最好一觉不起....

Trip To T3

Have not went to Changi Airport ever since my last KL business trip. Mm.. been a few years lo.. Today, i brought my mum there to fetch my bro whom went for business trip at Denmark.. Its mum's & mine first trip to T3 .. kekeke..

The last time i went to T1, its like very complicating.. maybe its because that i'm not that experience & familiar of the departure hall.. so my concept is, changi airport is very complicated. Today, i found that i'm wrong.. After alight from the train, there's very obvioius signs showing & guiding us to our destination..

As we're early, i brought mum to the TCC restaurant which station just beside bro's arrival belt number.

Mum enjoys the atmosphere but chosen the wrong coffee haha.. ended swap away mine instead.. :( ... :P

Forgot to take during bro's exit from the belt.. mm.. See how happy is mummy... why so happy le ? haha.. well.. this is also the 1st time she use my camera to try & take photo .. muahaha... can see the difference rite ? !! Lolx !!

Say Cheese !!! :P Erm.. do i look pale ? shack ? tired ? haha.. cos no makeup plus have a late night ... :S

BBQ

Organizing a bbq is not easy, tough & tired. But helping with the bbq is even more tired. We wake up early around 9am & went to IMM with my sis-in-law to meet up with my hby's aunt. She is the organizer for this bbq. Initially was just to have a simple gathering for the elderly. It was den decided to also include a mini bday celebration for her daughter's upcoming bday.

We reach IMM around 10 plus & decided to head for our breakfast while we're waiting for his aunt. After some discussion & price comparison, we decided to hv our breakfast at swenson. The waiting time is really long. Maybe shorthanded ? maybe too many customers ? well, but it was really really really really long.. we waited for our food for about half hr before the food was serve.. drinks came late too while we're waiting for the food. Food was serve by type & not by table.. :S .. not sure what kind of arrangement they have. We can see customers who came later than us whose food was served before us.. :S

After our breakfast, we start shopping for food.. strolling, searching, choosing, decision making & right up to paying. Thats the time where we knew that it cost so much.. erm.. about a hundred plus.. but still cheaper than we arrange a dinner i guess.

Brought back the food, dedicating the jobs. Cleans the bbq stove, placing the papers / food / drinks .. start the hot plate.. choose which to cook, what to put & how to keep the food cook but not burnt.. phew.. its so much stressful / tougher when u see the elderly came earlier than expected which we've to rush out the dishes to avoid the extension of their waiting time.. Luckily, we still have some cooked food from the bday gal's bf ( whose a chef !! ) .. hahaha but only cooking the fried beehoon / soup & salad.. mm.. good enough lah.

Ending our dish with the cake.. got it from swenson, lucky everyone likes it.. too bad its icecream cake as it melts very fast.. so have to cut it fast too :P.. yummy yummy !!

Clearing up is our last job.. =.= ''' thats another tough job.. plus making the place back to its normal in order to get back the deposit which aunt had given for the booking.. Sweating away with sticky & tired body, luckily we've got free driver to drive us back.. ^o^ !!
