Economy bad.. it affects everyone.. be it the employer or the employees. F-i-l is hvg a break. A long long break effective today.

A surprise given by his company when he was back from leave. Due to bad economy, they need to do some cost cutting.. guess what, they arrow it to him. Finding faults & get him retrench. At his age, we are happy & sad for him after his retrenchment. He is old, need rest, therefore, we are happy that he do not need to work & sweat daily under the hot sun. Sad as in, he use to wake up very early at 5plus am & sleeps at 8plus pm during his working days that keeps him occupy. But now, he is jobless & nowhere to go to but eat, rest, sleep. Company have their own politics, their own rules, but how can they kick someone out when they dun need & ask for help again when they are in need. ?? Making use of one to solve problem & kicks them out when they are no more in use ? haiz.. So sad to hear that the company is HSC.. Hope they will know that they've kick someone with high experience out wrongly.
It may be a bonus for f-i-l to be retrench as he is getting skinny & old lately.. Kind of worried of him when he is out at work at this time especially when his work is such a tough ones.. Maybe its a good thing.. god knows?
